<p>Healthcare costs keep rising for Central New Yorkers, while quality of care degrades. <strong>Healthcare access is not only an affordability issue, it’s a moral one. In a wealthy state like New York, no one should go without medical insurance or be forced to pay sky-high out-of-pocket costs for life-saving medicine.</strong></p><p>In the Assembly, <strong>Ian will co-sponsor the New York Health Act</strong>, a critical piece of legislation that would guarantee health coverage to all New Yorkers, regardless of income or pre-existing conditions. He will also support lowering the costs of prescription drugs and increasing funding for rural community hospitals and health clinics.<br><br></p>
